The Songwriter is the latest addition to Gibson’s range of acoustic guitars includes the J-45, J-200, Hummingbird and many others. first introduced in 2003 and was called the Songbird at the time, but the specifications were changed and the model was divided into different series, leading to the current model.It has a more modern, new-age Gibson sound.

This is an early deluxe studio model which is iconic to current standard series featuring Sitka spruce top, rosewood back and side with centre zip line, one piece mahogany neck, bound rosewood fingerboard with Mother-of-pearl Parallelogram inlays, rosewood headstock veneer and LRbaggs Element pickups. All original except for plain truss rod cover and tusq bridge pin and saddle. Original parts are all included in sales. Has beautiful crystal clear sounding with rosewood side back and 25.5” scale length specification. The body also has a square shoulder with full depth original shape, allowing you to fully enjoy the charm of a modern, new-age Gibson sound.
